If there is one thing I love, it’s a party. And people throw the best parties around the holidays. As a southern girl raised on the importance of hospitality, I appreciate all that is involved in pulling off a great gathering. My mom is the quintessential southern lady, always offering to open her home for a tea, shower or Christmas brunch and I was raised to value being both a gracious host and guest.
And while I haven’t done as much hosting since adding a fourth child to the bunch, I certainly am aware of the time, money and energy that goes into hosting. So if I’m hosting, the least I can do is be a grateful guest. I try to always show up with a little something to let the host know how much I appreciate the effort they have made to create an opportunity for fun and fellowship.
I can bet there are party invites already coming your way and so for a little inspiration I’ve created a sweet little hostess gift guide. I’m sharing both personalized and non-specific items, at several price points. I love to give a personalized gift when I can. It’s such a nice way to let the host know you picked something specifically with them in mind. At the same time, it’s always a great idea to have a few other small gifts on hand, for that last minute invite, or just in case you forgot someone on your list!
What are your go to gifts for the host? Let me know in the comments!
